O.K. it didn't really happen this fast but pretty close. One week it's the Blazing Hawks the hottest band and now this week it is the hip hop group. Our church had a little dance lesson on a Friday and the boys went and were thrilled to learn some hip hop steps. You might have heard that "white men can't dance"....and that might be true for some but my guys are dancers. If you don't believe it just ask them.
It has been great fun watching them do beat boy or b-boy, pop lock, and crump....at least I think that's what they said. I don't want to crush any ones dreams but one of the boys might not be as talented in this area as he would like. Nothing has been said and we still have the innocence factor on our side.
It is so great to watch your kids try and learn something new without being inhibited. The folks that came and taught were so kind and encouraging to all the kids. Everyone looked like they were having a lot of fun. Who knows maybe something was sparked and we might see some amazing dancers.
You might have noticed the title of my blog has changed to just Crew because I'm trying to be a little less out there. If you're here reading it's most likely because you know me and not that you just stumbled on by chance. We have some amazing happenings in our family and I want to share more of our faith journey with you. It will probably take me a few posts to catch you all up and recount some of the events over the last 3 months. Stay tuned........

ReplyDeleteYea, the only reason becki knows "Krump" is because she's a "So you think you can dance" fan. I mean seriously, who watches that show? HA! Love this post. Owen and Cooper want to know where they can take Hip Hop classes with your guys. Then Owen told me that it was only for big boys and he's big.
